Well first of all, killua undeniably loves gon immensely. There’s a lot that points towards him being gay. Im still happy that he left it as ambiguous tho. HxH isn't a romance anime and the evolution of their relationship was very good anyway.

Gon's personality on the other hand makes it more believable that he could see Killua as his best friend and nothing more because he's innocent and ignorant to begin with. If he really is gay in Togashi's mind, the most we can expect from him is holding hands at the very end of the manga (aka somewhere around 2050 if he's still alive by then lol) Making it official wouldnt be appropriate either it's not a romance anime and so many shounens randomly add romance (straight romance usually ofc) randomly purely for fan service. He doesnt need to do it, everyone who wants him to be gay has more than enough hints and it would cause unnecessary hate to make it official. He looks pretty gay to me but I very highly doubt Togashi will make it official even if they're more than friends in his mind. Being 12-14 is not even close to "too early" to have that kind of feelings. Love isnt only 18+ and btw sex isnt either. Dont say someone who never shows any ounce of interest towards girls is straight just because straight is supposed to be the "standard" )ĮDIT: Oh and their age really doesnt matter it's not even a half valid argument. Killua also never showed any attraction towards girls so the only valid answers are either "gay" or "we dont know". Personally I dont think you say stuff like "you are light i want to be with your forever" and look at your friends 24/7 like he does.

I was told YuYu Hakusho also had a guy straight up say he loves another guy and Togashi wanted to write a sports manga with a gay protag in the past.
#Little gay anime boys hxh plus#
There's literally a scene with naked Hisoka and Hisoka's ass plus the facts he's a pedo creep is brought up often. Pouf (a royal guard) acts gay as fck and flamboyant. Togashi introduced multiple gender ambiguous characters in his works and breaks some gender sterotypes with Kalluto, yet some people still completely deny the possibility smh. There are some hints that at least make it questionable and those who completely deny are just straight up blind or homophobe. I really dont understand all the stupid homophobes who completely deny the possibility.
#Little gay anime boys hxh series#
They won't get together at the end of the series or anything. And I don't want them to. A beautiful, pure love story between two lovely children. So uh, I'm not saying it's for sure cannon or anything but he likes to write in some pretty blatant homoerotic undertones. There aren't a whole lot of female characters in his work in general compared to men. Then, the utter lack of any sort of sexualized female characters. Then theres his love of creating attractive bishi male characters (Kurama, Kurapika, Prince Baka) plus his eroticism of Hisoka. Each of his major works also contain at least one cross dressing character. And there was even an extremely respectful, progressive transgender love story in Level E. Then Sensui is also transgender with one of his multiple personalities. There's Sensui and Itsuki, his only straight up gay couple. Also, it's worth noting that all of Togashis work contains a surprising amount of LGBT characters. If they were characters of different genders I do think think this would even be up for debate. I agree that the way Killua talks about Gon is beyond how almost anyone would ever think of just a friend.
